If he returns how will they bring Randy back?

I'd like to hear your theories on how they could achieve this and make it believeable enough for a film.

I think they could've just said that he died in Scream 2 to get rid of the threat that the killer could come to finish him off well actually he was just in a coma.

Any other theories?

one theory i didn't mind was the one they were going to use in Scream 3 where his parents whisked him off into hiding... they could have sent Martha with the video to seal the deal with the Stab 3 murders starting again,other than that i don't know,something genuinely believable needs to be thought of thats good if his character is to return..

Yeah, but Scream does often comment on the cliche's in horror films and everyone was gutted when he died.

Tyson was a sort of Randy substitute as they were saying. Anyway TWC wants him back in it.

He was too underused. Why he is on the cover of the movie is beyond me. He's one of the least important characters.

I'm guessing they did that because the first Scream got criticised for not having any black people in it (which is what they were saying in the second film) and they did it with this one to not get criticised again. Also in the third act he was in it quite a lot.

Yeah I found that funny how in Scream 2, the black characters are talking about how there was no black characters -- then they are the first to die.

i agree it would be great to bring randy back, but it was very clear that he was dead in Scream 2 so how they would get round that is beyond me.

i think also in this film there should be a major twist where sidney is actually killed but the killer to be someone BIG!!! storyline wise

yes randy was killed in scream 2 he was stabed 4 times. but i just had a thought wouldn't it be good if randy was the killer in scream 4?

Agreed.. His death was the greatest scene of the sequel..
However if they decide to bring him back, it should be as a flashback of Randy talking about the rules of a remake og a reboot.. sum'ing like that

I agree with screamking. We all know Randy is the best and coolest character and it sucked big time that he died, but sad truth is: He's dead and he aint comin back! Scream is one of the few horror movies that is almost all realistic and laughs at the clichés of other horror movies, therefore i highly doubt they will bring him back as it is unrealistic and pretty much impossible without making up some lame excuse because they realized what a bad decision it was to have Randy die.

If they do bring him back, i like the idea of his parents "wisking" him away into hiding...
