I'd have to say the second, i mean i remember when i was a kid and the most scariest scene for me weirdly enough was the end when they reveal them selfs, that debbie scared the crap out of me when i was young i'l tell you that..her eyes are like demons
As far as the film on a whole it was SCREAM that scared me the most. The entire film had moments that was scary and what made it worse is that could really happen. Add to that anyone could be under the mask.
No not exactly like the Gainesville ripper and he didn't wear a Ghostface mask either. However anyone could get a mask and do these types of things. Maybe not an exact but certainly killing people while wearing a mask.
