He was yes, very sadistic but he provided the comic relief of the two films.

The third one, ignores the second one it's meant to be the sequel to the first film.

ScreamKing, you didn't like the prequel how come? Most people seemed to enjoy it, it wasn't as good as the remake but imo it's better than 2+3 (I haven't seen 4)
I didn't like the prequal because you knew exactly how it was going to turn out. You could never go for the good guys, because you knew none of them were going to kill the sherrif or anyone in that family because they were in the other movie. Thats why I don't like prequals.

Honestly, I barely rememeber it. I bought it last year and I remember being upset about it. Didn't
Spoiler: show
everyone end up dying
? I think so anyways from what I can remember. And I remember thinking that at the beginning of the prequal. It really should have been a sequal so it could have been unpredictable.
Gale: Jesus, the camera! Hurry!
Kenny: My name isn't Jesus.

Yeah
Spoiler: show
Everyone did die
you're right about it being predictable and because of that it has recieved criticism but the remake stated the five teens in that were the last victims of the hewitt family from the narration at the opening so they couldn't really do a sequel from that despite
Spoiler: show
the ending narration saying Leatherface is still at large, but he has one arm and presumably the rest of the family were captured and he couldn't do it on his own
so they decided to do that prequel.

I think they should have just left it alone after the remake because I really liked it.

the next generation ties in all the sequels because in the beginning it says two incidents or something like that! so im happy about that :) leatherface went from adopted family to the next they mention that in the making of one of the films

There's one for the second film I know that, it's called "The Devil's Playground" or something.

I've only watched the first TCM thanks to my Mom. This was her favorite horror film. It still might be. I'll ask her and see.
