The Fisherman? (I know what you did last summer 4)

I remember reading somewhere about this....it's a follow up to "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer" and it was apparently about a SWAT team being sent out to kill the fisherman. I haven't seen I'll always know what you did last summer, but I've read the entire plot and frankly I thought it sounded shocking especially with the twist ending, so if they did release "The Fisherman" I would probably ignore it's exsistence as I do with the previous one. They should've carried on from No. 2 or just leave it alone, it was a good ending.

Ghostface, you're a fan of the first two films do you know anything about this?

I just read that the film got scrapped but then as of September the film got re-written and takes place after the events of the 2nd film and that Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze jr. would star in the film if filming starts in 2009. Not too sure about the info, it could be made up.

After a bit more research, the main talk of it is on IMDb and a brief description is written on wikipedia....so it's probably fake. But I've read the ending for the I'll Always know, so a sequel is inevitable. I will continue looking though for actual info.

the killer is minced to death in a farm type machine,next thing you know hes back a year later! Plus the killer also has red glowing eyes in this one and black blood!!

hmmm sounds interesting, I wasn't going to watch it due to that little twist but I might as well check it out, a dodgy I Know What You Did sequel is better than no sequel, leaving everyone wondering, I think I'll buy the Trilogy box set.

i really LOVE this series i loved the 3rd to making a new sequel will be good and it will be good to follow the events of the 2nd

I think we will be waiting for quite a while before another sequel comes with Jennifer love Hewitt and Freddie prinze jnr come back, IF they do, failing that i hope they don't kill it even more with another direct to dvd sequel..

So far I can't find anything about this, if there was a sequel in the works they probably scrapped it but I think IAKWYDLS did quite well with dvd sales and knowing producers they'll get cash by any means nessercary so there's still a possibility of another sequel.

APPARENTLY on the "Ellen Show" Jennifer Lover Hewitt said something about a sequel according to someone in the IAKWYDLS board on IMDb. I've asked when did she say that to see if I can find the video for it for some actual evidence. They posted that yesterday and this person appears to be a regular on the board so hopefully I'll get an answer soon.
