Scream 4 knocks "Rio" off no.1 spot in UK

Ok so it might not have knocked that kids film "Rio" off the top everywhere but its at #2 last i looked.. but in the UK we have managed to get it to no.1 .. FemaleFirst.co.uk have the article displaying Scream 4 at the no.1 position! Where it belongs!

The movie took just over £2 million this weekend to storm to the top of the UK box office and end the reign of animation movie Rio."

Ah, good! Haven't seen Rio, think it looks pretty crap tbh... Think Scream 4 has done pretty well against Rio considering it's a kids film.

Good to see that at least it is no. 1 in the UK.
It is no. 2 for the weekend of April 15-17 here in the U.S. Rio only did well because it's a kids movie. It's also the beginning of Spring Break here for all the younger grades. They need something to do...
Hopefully, Scre4m will gain a little more momentum at the box office. I'd hate to see it bomb and only be there for 2 weeks...
