Purchasing Knives from the U.S.

Postby screamfan91 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 2:28 pm

Hi, has anyone ever purchased a knife from the U.S. to the UK? I was just wondering because I am looking to get the Buck 119 Special and the best price I have seen so far is from the U.S. but wasn't too sure on whether or not it would get through customs or have any other problems?

Thanks :D

Ive never bought a knife of any sort... i think the best you can do is to buy a Resin replica as you cant do any accidental harm with them.. on the customs label it could be just named as plastic or resin knife replica, or simply "memorabilia"... i dont know of anyone else that has had one from US to UK... Sorry.

Thanks for the reply. After some searching I finally found a UK based site that does do the Buck Special so hopefully everything should be fine to get from there. Heres the link in case anyone is interested: http://blades-uk.com/search_results.php?q=buck
