What If..? Gale was killed?

In the scene where Randy, Dewey and Gale are sitting in the park then the killer calls..you get where i am so far..

So anyway as we all know, Randy picks up the phone and shouts "Gales not here!" well imagine if Gale would of picked up the phone see'ing as it was her phone, Do you think Gale would of been the one who would of got murderd? after all, the killer was watching and she saw them all sat there and she rang Gales phone

i think she saw gales phone being used before and thought that's the best way to get in contact,maybe she would have died,not likely though in my opinion.

it depends, Gale may not have even walked near the van,she could have just stood there arguing..

The plan may have still been to kill Randy at that time. If he hadn't been on the phone he might have gone with Dewey to look for who the call was coming from and still ended up dead.
