Favourite Killer and motive

Postby ipatrick » Sun Apr 12, 2009 9:41 pm

Mrs Loomis was always my favourite killer. She came so out of the blue, so unexpected. Her motive is by far the one that made more sense and she was genuinely crazy. Her gestures and passive aggresive performance matched so perfectly with the whole serial killing plan.

I guess Roman is the one I like the least although I thought his motive was okay, it gave a proper ending to the story and the whole triulogy came full circle with him. That's also the reason why I would never support a new installment, neither remake nor sequel for the Scream Trilogy, it was well over with Scream 3.

Yes, very true, but there's always some reason for someone to come back in these films.. not always because its planned (Because it was always meant to be a trilogy) but because over the years the fans have made it clear they wanted a fourth, this got back to the weinsteins and finally they are doing something about it now..

Well i agree with you iPatrick but Mickey was a good killer but his motive did not just fit atall, i mean billy and stu was younger then him and they had better reasons to kill.

Mickey. Debbie Salt wouldn't be capable of anything without him.

Mrs. Loomis made a great killer. Her motive was solid and her aggression was fantastic.

As for as the new installment I can't agree with you there. Just as the new poster for Scream 4 says "New Decade. New Rules." That's exactly what it is. It's having the familiar things for us longtime Scream fans while bringing in new fans with something fresh and new. That being new faces and new elements to the story. Change can be good if it's done with taste. I think this is being done with great taste.

Mmmm this is tough, but i'm gonna have to go with Mickey.

My reason for this is because I think that he really knew what he wanted, and that was to be immortalized by blaming the movies, 'STAB' in particualr. In a way I felt kinda bad for Mickey, as he seemed to be used by, Mrs Loomis, because she didn't wanna get her hands too dirty, after all she just wanted to kill Sidney Prescott for what she did to her son Billy Loomis. If you think about it, Billy was doing the same to Stu in Scream, he was using him as a partner, and just incase they did get caught, he could blame it all on Stu and walk away from it all, I think this is actually mentioned in S3 when Roman is telling Sidney about how he set the whole thing up and giving Billy advice.

So for me it's, Mickey
