Scream Knife

Postby MONSTERLUVER » Fri Apr 30, 2010 2:25 am

Hey guys...I was wanting to know if any of you knew exactly how long the Buck knife is in the Scream films ??? I am thinking that it is a size 120 !! They sell a 119 at Wally World, for $40 bucks...but I don't think it is long enough !?? The 120 has a 7 3/8 " blade which makes it... exactly 12 " long from end to end and the 119 has a 6 " blade which makes it only around 10 " long from end to end!! People who claim to have the "screen used" knives state that they are 12 " long !!! Can anyone verify this for me before I go buy one ???!!! :?

Thanx

It makes it easier for fans when they stay consistant with the weapons as far as collecting.

they used the 119 for a couple shots in scream 1 remember the scene where sidney is pinned on the ground by the killer for the first time

anyone know where i can buy a buck 120 knife? they've been replaced by the shorter Buck 119 but i like the 120 better cause its longer and was used in all of the movies. also i am willing to pay 150 for one but want to see if some place other than ebay has them for sale

From what ive seen with fans talking about them you have to be lucky to find one now as they were discontinued.. Try EBay as ive seen some there now and again.

If I'm correct, I think the Buck company stopped making Buck 120 knives because people were deeming the blade was too long to gut animals.

I know it's so weird! Yet, Billy and Stu were gutting PEOPLE with the Buck 120!
