Now, as history eerily repeats itself, ambitious reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox -- TV's Friends), deputy Dewey (David Arquette -- Beautiful Girls) and other Scream survivors find themselves trapped in a terrifyingly clever plotline where no one is safe -- or beyond suspicion! Director Wes Craven (Scream) and hit-making writer Kevin Williamson (Scream) team up once again and deliver the big screen's hippest, coolest, edgiest thrill-ride ever!

Sidney heads to Windsor college to carry on with her life, she hopes the past stays in Woodsboro, but after the first two murders she gets that gut feeling again where she knows it may not be over.
Dewey was lucky in Woodsboro and survived leaving him with a limp due to a severed nerve, his first priority is to get to Sidney after seeing the news, especially after what happened to Tatum,He's a Surrogate Big Brother.
Back again after getting a Big Break with the murders in Woodsboro,Gale did help save the day where Billy and Stu are concerned but she still has a cameraman with her most the time and will do anything to get the story.
Jamie Kennedy: Randy Meeks Character Rating: 10/10
Jada Pinkett Smith: Maureen Evans
Character Rating:
7/10
Omar Epps: Phil Stevens
Character Rating:

After the Woodsboro murders Randy is more than happy to get out of Woodsboro,College is a positive way forward for any film buff, but with the murders starting again theres no telling if he was at risk,he still has a thing for Sid and suspects Derek and Mickey among others while explaining the rules to Dewey.
Maureen is a Student with good levels of intelligence, she prefers to spend Phils money instead of her own if possible! She thinks the horror genre excludes the African American elements! She thinks “STAB” is predictable but doesnt Predict her own death in the cinema!
Phil Stevens is a Windsor College Senior.. He loves to be scared and doesnt seem to like paying high prices for cinema tickets unless theres some nudity in the films. Phil is the first victim to die at the hands of Ghostface in the theatres toilets..Maureen doesnt like his jokes all the time and thinks the killer is him in the theatre at first! A painful death too!
Jerry O`Connell: Derek Feldman Character Rating:
9/10
Elise Neal:
Hallie McDaniel Character Rating:
9/10
Sarah Michelle Gellar: Cici Cooper
Character Rating:
10/10
Derek is devoted to sid and knowing her past in woodsboro makes him give her alot of attention he wants to be a doctor and seems like a perfect match for sid,he suffers a wound at the hands of ghostface but still wants to protect sid at all times! He is in a Fraternity too and doesnt mind giving his "Greek Letters" to sid for protection! His fraternity brothers have an opinion on it though and he pays a price!
Hallie is sids room mate and sort of best friend like tatum was,she wants sid to join her with sister lois and sister murphy but sids not keen. She calls herself Sids therapist. Shes not keen on gail and will do anything to try and keep sid happy as a friend!
Cici loves her films and TV shows and attends windsor college. She is a member of Omega beta zeda! She believes that movies arent responsible for our actions! She finds out different when alone in her frat house though.
Lewis Arquette: Chief Lewis Hartley
Character Rating:
8/10
Duane Martin:
Joel Jones
Character Rating:
8/10
Timothy Olyphant: Mickey Altieri
Character Rating:
9/10
Chief Hartley doesnt know loads about woodsboro until Dewey and gail start to realise that the killer is copying what happened in Woodsboro. He straight away puts his two best detectives out to Guard sid and wants as many murders as possible to be prevented and the death toll to stay to a minimum! He doesnt get his wish entirely though.
Joel is a keen Cameraman and almost won an award for shooting the bingo finals. He doesnt realise what happened to gails last cameraman until reading her book and becomes very on edge! He makes a very rash decision to “Get the fuck out of here” and lucky for him he doesnt follow kennys footsteps!
Like randy mickey loves his films but isnt too keen on sequels that ruin the first movies. He is friends with derek, hallie, randy, cici, and sid and is always carrying his camcorder about! He wants to interview sid for his documentary but doesnt get his wish in the end! He knows of debbie salt but doesnt let on to that!
Laurie Metcalf: Debbie Salt/
Mrs Loomis
Character Rating:
9/10
David Warner: Gus Gold
Character Rating:
9/10
Heather Graham: "Stab" Casey Character Rating:
9/10
An ambitious reporter so it seems and manages to get to cicis death scene very quick! Debbie as she calls herself tries as much as she can to suck up to Gale! She soon reveals her dark side which wasnt expected by Gale or Sid and then mentions that she backed Mickey and is Billys mother!
Gus believes Sidney is a fighter and therefore insists she continue with her role as "Cassandra" although it leads to a good scare from the killer,a genuine old chap though.
A hot actress to play Casey! Just like the Original movie! no doubt a big hit with the male population,Casey in "Stab" decides to shower but dies first! Typical!
Phil Pavel: Officer Andrews
Character Rating:
7/10
Chris Doyle: Officer Richards Character Rating:
8/10
Rebecca Gayheart: Soroity Sister Lois
Character Rating:
7/10
A young officer of the law, like dewey was,Its Officer Andrews first priority to protect Sidney Prescott, which he does ok to an extent! He doesnt manage to protect himself as good though.
Another good copper! He doesnt seem to smile much, prehaps due to taking his job seriously when it comes to Sidneys protection,He doesnt do well against Ghostface though whilst on a moving car!
Like Sister lois sister Murphy wants sid in her soroity and is also friends with hallie. Shes always friendly and outgoing and will do anything it seems to get people she wants in her Frat! She also knows cici, whos part of her Frat house!
Luke Wilson: "Stab" Billy
Character Rating:
8/10
Tori Spelling: "Stab" Sidney
Character Rating:
8/10
Portia De Rossi: Soroity Sister Murphy Character Rating:
7/10
Stab Billy! He was funny to look at and the hair seems a bit too over the top but oh well,he seems less darker than the real Billy Loomis but still tells himself off for saying the wrong thing!
Sid herself thought she would have Tori cast as her if a movie was made, not that she was thrilled about it,Although the scene shown to was perfect for a film within a film.
Lois wants Sid to be in her Fraternity so bad as shes friend of hallie who plegdes her soroity! Her best friend appears to be Sister Murphy! She also believes in safe sex!

Comments: Overall it is actually a really good album and i enjoy a few songs on there but im afraid there are quite a few that go on for a long time which get boring! For instance "Shes always in my hair" track used at the very start of the movie! A good track but goes on far too long for my liking. Where as the Tracks 2,6,7,10,11,12,13,15 are more of an easier and shorter good listen!
My favourite here is Eels "Lucky day in hell" Brilliant Track!

Scream 2:
Original Score
My rating: 10/10
This "Score Cd" is worth the buy! Tracks galore from the Sequel!
Cici`s Death scene,Car scene with killer! and loads more which keeps this Cd alive and kicking unlike some victims in the movie!
BUT... The "Dewey theme" ISNT on there.. It was composed by Hans Zimmer for the movie "Broken Arrow" Originally! It can be found though!
The premiere of Stab: The Rialto, South Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena
Premiere of Stab: "Interior" Vista Theater,Sunset Drive, Hollywood
Party at the sorority house: South Grand Avenue,Pasadena.
Also in California are the setting for Stab and its première. The movie-within-a-movie was shot at Malibu. The première was filmed in the beautiful little Vista Theater, 4473 Sunset Drive, Hollywood (which you've probably seen as the ‘Detroit’ movie house at the opening of Tony Scott’s True Romance).
That’s not the exterior of the Vista, though. The cinema frontage is the Rialto Theatre, 1023 South Fair Oaks Avenue, South Pasadena. The Rialto was seen in Robert Altman’s The Player and in John Landis’ Kentucky Fried Movie.
After "Scream`s" success at the Box office there was Scream 2!
A cool, hip, new sequel!! We see the mask undergo a slight change here..
The "Eye surrounds" appear to bulge out slightly more in my opinion, also another edition seems to be some black type of "Dreadlocks" either side coming down from the top of the main hood...The masks sold today are glow in the dark but the ones used for Scream 2 Wasnt!
The mask is also now a but more rubbery and plyable than its previous one used in Scream.
The robe itself appears to have been kept the same, covering whoever wore it from head to toe completely to avoid ANY exposure at all, although,at the bottom of the robe it is now cut into squares instead of triangles...
In the film we see the cinema staff handing out the costumes with Glow up knifes too... These are "Near enough" the same as the ones you buy today online or from Superstores worldwide around the Halloween time of year,
plus dont forget Ebay!
A few good collectors items appear on there too for Trilogy collectibles...
So,Overall an improved mask and a robe that is only very slightly changed but still does the same job!!!
SCREAM 2 FACT:
The packaged costume seen at the start is now called "Scary Costume" as seen in STAB!
I thank "Nick Meece" for help on some of the information on here... With him being in the USA he knows some stuff that i didnt know regarding "KNB" and certain changes to the mask throughout the trilogy..plus he has had the good fortune to see a REAL Scream costume!! Lucky lad!!! THANKS Nick!!!
Death no. 1 : Phil Stevens | Stabbed in the ear.
Taking his girlfriend to the cinema is ok for FREE,apart from when she wants his money for refreshments, trouble is mother nature always calls when getting into the film, then Ghostface calls too!
Death no. 2 : Maureen Evans | Stabbed several times.
Why go to see "Stab" when Sandra Bullock is on right down the street? Maureen thinks she knows how to act in a scary situation,im afraid not, especially when taking place sat next to the killer.
Death no. 3 : Casey Cooper "Cici" | Stabbed and Thrown off the balcony.
Being "Sober Sister" can result in all things going on,catching up with friends over Tv shows and Drunk boyfriends?!
Afraid not,Ghostface wants to catch up with her too after all those stairs,Cici takes an easier way out,to her death.
Death no. 4 : Randy Meeks | Stabbed several times and throat slashed.
Knowing the rules in Scary movies you would think Randy would know not to wind up a killer too much, especially with unattended news vans providing an unseen kill!
Death no. 5 : Officer Andrews | Throat Slashed.
Guarding Sidney isnt the easiest job and thinking your partner or even a car can provide safety then your wrong, all it takes is a red light for him to stop and let Ghostface surprise him with one swift slash,im afraid hes out!
Death no. 6 : Officer Richards | Impaled on pole in roadworks.
A Gun cant always stop a killer, especially if you dont use it,and with Red lights and ongoing roadworks it doesnt help if your on the bonnet of a car being driven by a mad killer. He gets the point.
Death no. 7 : Hallie McDaniel | Stabbed repeatedly.
Best Friend duties are hard especially when in a cop car that doesnt open, crawling over a killer is very brave and courageous, but waiting around afterwards isnt!
Death no. 8 : Derek Feldman | Shot in chest.
The perfect lad to take home to mom! Derek pays a higher price than bargained for when he gives his Greek letters to Sid,he wouldnt have hurt Sid,But mickey hurts him!
Death no. 9 : Mrs Loomis/Debbie Salt | Shot twice.
Raising a family is hard especially when your husband cheats,Revenge is old fashioned but it works until getting clumsy and under-estimating Sidney and Cotton
Death no. 10 Mickey Altieri | Shot several times.
Being a Psycho in the classifieds can be good for being a killer, but it can also lead to killers that turn on you too! Is that right Mickey?!
Some interesting Trivia info for Scream 2
Not only was the cast not informed who the killer was until the last Day of shooting, they also didn't receive the last 10 pages of the script until it was time to film them. The last 10 pages were also printed on grey paper, therefore making them unable to be illicitly Xeroxed. All cast members had to sign contracts that they would not discuss the movie's outcome or the killer's identity with the media.
Body count: 10
In Scream, Sydney laments that with her luck, she'd be portrayed by Tori Spelling if her story were ever filmed. In Stab, the film-within-a-film in Scream 2, Tori Spelling does in fact play Sydney.
Cameo: [Wes Craven] man in the background at the hospital.
Cameo: [Kevin Williamson] Cotton's interviewer on T.V.
Cameo: [Matthew Lillard] Co-star of the original Scream is in the background at the frat party.
Liev Schreiber's dog (terrier) has a cameo in the film. A female co-ed leads him in front of the crowd that goes to investigate after news of Cici's murder.
Most of the outdoor scene are filmed at Agnes Scott College, a women's college in Atlanta, Georgia.
"Dewey's Theme" and other bits of the score are actually taken from the Broken Arrow (1996) soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. Later Score Soundtrack releases for Scream 2 feature Belltrami's score, although it was not used in the film.
There are several references to actors from "Friends" (1994) which stars 'Courtney Cox'. Gale says that the nude photos of her that were put on the internet are fakes, and that the body is that of Jennifer Aniston. Also, We learn that in Stab, Dewey is played by 'David Schwimmer'.
Though in most films, phone voices are recorded later, director Wes Craven actually had the voice of the killer on set, to heighten the sense of fear for the actors. According to 'Roger L. Jackson', who plays the voice, he was kept on set but always out of sight from the actors, so they couldn't picture a face with the voice. He said while watching the monitors, he could see between takes that Heather Graham looked a little scared, whereas Sarah Michelle Gellar would pick up the phone and carry on a conversation with him.
Gail's mention of doctored internet photos is also a reference to an incident that actually happened to 'Courteney Cox' in the mid-1990s.
Paulette Patterson, who plays the usher who hands masks to Maureen and Phil, won her role in a contest sponsored by MTV.
Eric Mabius, Natasha Gregson Wagner, and Paula Marshall all auditioned for roles.
The Gothic statues in the film aren't Agnes Scott campus features; they were put there for the film and guarded by a watchman. Students on the campus for summer events were told not to mess with the statues, but at least once the statues were dressed up and decorated by mischievous students who evaded the watchman.
Officers Richards and Andrews are named after Kyle Richards and Brian Andrews, the two child actors that Jamie Lee Curtis babysat in the original Halloween.
The girl that Cici talks to on the phone before the killer calls is Selma Blair.
The third rule to surviving a sequel is cut from the movie, but is shown in the trailer. ""And #3. Never, ever under any circumstance assume that the killer is dead."
The tagline for "Stab" (the movie within the movie) is, "This is Gonna Hurt".
The plot twists were all a matter of top secrecy throughout production. The screenplay was heavily guarded and restricted to only the most crucial personnel. Certainly none of the cast knew how the film ended as the last 10 pages were withheld from them. Consequently when an early screenplay draft was leaked onto the Internet, revealing the intended identity of Ghostface, Kevin Williamson was forced to do some hasty rewrites. This meant that the film went into production without a completed script.
Earned one third of its total gross of $101.3 million in its opening weekend.
The rules for a horror movie sequel - as laid out by Randy in the film - are (1) the body count is always bigger and (2) the death scenes are always much more elaborate with more blood and gore.
The killer's comments when Omar Epps overhears him in the bathroom stall next to him are directly inspired by the killer in Black Christmas (1974).
The film's working title was "The Sequel to Scream".
When we first see CiCi (Sarah Michelle Gellar) alone in the sorority house and on the phone with her friend, she says "They aren't going out anymore, Sarah broke up with Bailey when she found out he slept with Gwen." Sarah, Bailey and Gwen were all characters on "Party of Five" (1994), which Neve Campbell starred in for 6 years.
In the trailer and TV spots, the scene where Sidney talks to the killer for the first time on the Lamda house phone is altered. In the trailers, the killer replies to her question with "It's time, girlfriend!" In the theatrical version, he says "I want you. It's show time."
SPOILER: The opening scene, where the boyfriend gets away from the girlfriend, gets murdered, and the killer in disguise takes his place, resembles a murder scene in Halloween (1978).
SPOILER: The 10 deaths in the movie go as follows: Phil Stevens, Maureen Evans, Cici, Randy, Officer Andrews, Officer Richards, Hallie, Derek, Mrs. Loomis (2nd Killer) (it is revealed that she killed Randy), Mickey (1st Killer).
Scream 2 Goofs listed below
Crew or equipment visible: When CiCi is thrown over the balcony, a crew member's head pops up just beyond the edge of the balcony on the right for about a second.
Continuity: The position of Sidney's head near the end of her first conversation with Dewey in the gazebo.
Continuity: When Sidney and Hallie get in the police escort car Hallie gets in first sitting on the left, but later when the car is driving down the street and eventually crashes, Sidney and Hallie have switched places and Sidney is now on the left. (This was explained in an outtake. As a joke, the girls got out and ran around the car when it stopped at a red light.)
Continuity: When Sidney gets the instant message from the killer, in the library, the man next to her tells her to hit Alt-M. She punches a lot more than two buttons to bring up her instant message.
Factual errors: Randy corrects the film student about an Aliens (1986) quote "Get away from her you bitch." Randy was wrong, film student was right; since Randy is supposed to be an expert, this counts as a goof.
Continuity: During the last stabbing of Maureen Evans, the killer puts his right arm around her and stabs her with his left, but from the back view, his left arm is around her and he is stabbing her with his right hand.
Continuity: While CiCi is running away from the killer, she makes her way to the second floor, where the killer is right behind her, yet in the next scene, she is far ahead of him.
Continuity: Sidney has a zit on her chin toward the end of the movie, when she gets into the car. But in the climax, it isn't there.
Continuity: When the killer is stabbing Dewey and Gale is staring at him from the other side of the glass room, the killer's reflection is seen just staring back at Gale, when it should be moving around while stabbing Dewey.
Continuity: The police chief conducts a press conference. Later, when videotape of the press conference is reviewed by Gale, the person to his left (frame right) is different.
Crew or equipment visible: Reflected in most of the vans' windows.
Continuity: Glass fragments from window of the cop car disappear as the killer speeds away.
Continuity: Red drawings on Derek's chest disappear/reappear when the fraternity captures him.
Revealing mistakes: Blood on the knife before Phil is stabbed.
Continuity: When Randy is being stabbed in the news van, the blood on the knife stays the same each time he gets stabbed.
Continuity: After Cici is thrown through the window and is lying on the balcony, you can see blood on her back before she is stabbed.
Continuity: In the scene where the killer is after CiCi on the balcony, the killer stabs her in the back twice but when the killer removes the knife from her back both times you can clearly see there is no blood on it.
Revealing mistakes: Blood on the younger cop's throat before it is slit.
Continuity: When Syd smacks Gail Weathers in the courtyard after being introduced to Cotton for the first time, Gail's hair alternates between being tucked behind her ears and being in her face in between shots.
Audio/visual unsynchronized: At the end, where Mickey shoots Gale, Sidney shouts Gale but her lips aren't moving.
Continuity: When Dewey is pounding on the soundproof glass, trying to get Gale's attention, his hand alternates between being open palmed and balled in a fist.
Continuity: When the killer talks to Randy on the phone, he mocks Randy about not being the leading man, to which Randy replies "Fuck You!" But when Gale and Dewey watch the killer's tape, Randy says "Fuck You!" before the killer mocks him.
Continuity: Scream takes place in 1996, and Scream 2 takes place two years later (1998). However, in the beginning of the movie at the movie theater, we see the date of filming, April 12, 1997 on the ticket booth window.
Continuity: When CiCi is thrown from the balcony by the killer, she is thrown chest down. When we see her body on the ground, she is on her back, so the killer would have to have spun her while throwing her off, which he does not appear to do.
Errors in geography: There is a Los Angeles County Seal on the rear window of the ambulance at the end of the movie, despite the fact that the events take place nowhere near Los Angeles, or even in the state of California.
Crew or equipment visible: When the cop car first pulls away, a reflector screen is visible in the frame of the back door.
Continuity: When Sidney is rehearsing in the play as Cassandra, after she gets up, in one shot she is covering her face with her veil and in the next shot, she has her arms and her veil up and she is lowering them.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the beginning when Maureen Evans goes to the concession stand, she orders a small Pepsi. However, when she turns around, her drink is anything but small.
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the intro in the movie theatre, when the character of Maureen Evans goes up to the concession counter to order her popcorn and Pepsi, the clerk gives it to her without accepting any money, or ringing it up on the till, yet we see her with the money in her hand.
Continuity: When Gail kisses Dewey in the lecture theatre, all her dark red lipstick is wiped off or smeared around her mouth, but none of it appears on Dewey.
